Seminar for COMELEC Poll Watcher

         May 13, 2013, Election Day. Manny people will be choosing among those people who run and admiring for different position.it is not new to us that during Election they are many anomalies that would happen, like for example Vote buying,paying the voters in order to vote the candidate, and especially those persons in charge in the machine that we are using the PCOS  machine and the teacher that are assigned in tallying the votes of the people. In order to minimize this kind of practices the COMELEC or the individual candidate provided a watcher to secure that theirs no anomalies that would happen.

         May 7, 2013 yesterday, as one of the COMELEC poll watcher in our Barangay, TAMUGAN MARILOG DISTRICT DAVAO CITY Cluster # 1122 our chairman decided to have a seminar regarding with the traits and behavior of the watcher inside the precinct.Together with the Brgy.officials, COMELEC In charge, and the other poll watcher.As what I had learned  yesterday that some of the traits, behavior or status of the watcher is that first, they  should be a registered voter in your city,you are able to vote.Second, you should be a  citizen in the place that you are watching off. Third, as a COMELEC poll watcher you will not depend any candidate who aspiring for different position.Fourth, part of the watchers job is to assist, giving information to those people who will vote for the first time, those senior citizen, disabled persons and as what i had experienced it is not easy to handle this kind of people, as a watcher you should be patient  and humble in dealing with those people. As a watcher we should be responsible in those votes that  people had we should also tallying manually the votes in order to check the result if it is correct or not and to make sure that all people in the cluster could vote, because by their vote the condition of our nation might change.

        As I had the seminar, I learned a lot,I understand the the work of those people who are serving during the election and it is not an easy task. I realized that serving people is a great pleasure especially during this election in order to secure that their no votes that will be lost, and with this simple act I can show my  love to our country.

What are the principal ethical concerns i should be conscious of the use of information technology?

Ethical concerns are very important in using information technology. It is important because you yourself is responsible of using it.There are a lot of ethical concerns that we should have in using information technology. As i interviewed my classmate about this queistion there are a lot nof ideas that comes into there mind. According to Ms. Regine Guevarra a BSBA 4 student she says that one of the value that we should wear off in using information technology is being responsible, responsible of using it, according to her that they are some people who are not responsible of using the IT,they were just using it for fun, enjoynment they are not responsible in usin as an IT user web wshould be responsible in using it. Second,be honest whatever we posted,words that we have written, for example in our blogs, etc. we should be honest on it. Another classmate of mine says that we should install good information that we are going to be posted to our accounts in that we could help to others to gain more ideas that is a good and true information. Another is that as an IT user we should have this privacy in our accounts espicially the information about ourselves like our photos.video etc. another thing that we should have is that not to hocked others account, even if that person has a great mistake done to you just leave it in your accont dont hocked him/her just remain what you are to him/her in order for him to feel that you are there always.
  As an IT user youn should have tjhis value of sharing knowledge to other,you should not be selfish.Share what you have learn to others who didn't know yet, for that you have a great contribution not only for yourself but including others that through you  they can communicate others, they relatives, friends,etc. in a simple way.  And this are the ideas I got upon interviewieng my classmate about the ethical concerns in using Information Technology..
